My husband, David, and I, welcomed our triplets to the world on Dec. 2 2005.
We were extremely fortunate during my pregnancy. I had taken 2 rounds of Clomid, which was the first thing we tried and found our triplets on the ultrasound at 18 weeks! We were so shocked, and the doctor as well, since he wasn't sure I'd get pregnant at all. It was so surreal, we went in hoping to know if we were having a boy or girl and found we had triplets!! It didn't sink in until they arrived, and even then, it seemed like they weren't really mine.

We were so fortunate, my heart aches for what other families have gone through, and I felt almost guilty, because I didn't know what I did to deserve this gift when there were so many people out there who were so much more deserving.

Our pregnancy was very uneventful, although, my blood pressure was up, I did not develop any major problems, I was taken off of work in September, but never placed on bed rest. My doctor was very nonchalant which made me very nervous, but I knew he knew more than I did. We delivered at 37 weeks. Brexton Nathaniel was my biggest boy at 6 lbs 11 oz, Kylar Jonathan my second boy at 6 lbs 2oz, and my little girl McKinnley Gayle at 5lbs 12oz. Kylar was in the NICU for a few days, but they all came home with me!

They are all beginning to talk, and be very independent. It's hard being a stay at home mom and most days I can't even leave our 2 bedroom house. We are very cramped, and stressed. It is so worth it! When they FINALLY go down to sleep, I take my breath and collapse on the couch. Then I watch them in their cribs, sleeping so peacefully, and I thank God for every minute I have with them. I can't wait to watch them grow up, but I don't want to miss ANYTHING!

I would like to converse with other triplet moms whose kids are my age.
