Our triplet pregnancy was like many others, I am sure. I was put on bedrest very
early on (around 12 weeks). At around 26 weeks my pubic symphysis separated (OUCH -
pain that is indescribable when you consider I still had three babies resting on that
breaking bone for another 7+ weeks!). I had severe gestational diabetes and was
hospitalized at 30 weeks and put on twice daily heparin injections to ward off blood
clots since I could not move because my pelvis was broken. I went into labor at 32w6d.
They gave me IV fluids, procardia and finally magnesium sulfate. The mag sulfate did
eventually stop my labor and they then gave me steroids for the babies lungs.
Unfortunately,
I kept going into labor so they would up the mag sulfate until the steroids had done their
thing and then they delivered my little miracles.
We are Sophia and Mark from England.
The proud parents of triplet

my girls has had kidney problems but we seeem to have overcome that for know
and God willing she has grown out of this. Right now we are all healthy and

Tom and Sue had spontaneous identical triplet boys on
December 30, 1999.
Kevin was 3 lb 7.5 oz, John was 3 lb 8 oz, and Gregory was 3 lb. 3 oz.
They join brothers Donald, August 21, 1994 and Michael, February 4, 1998.
They were born at 31 weeks 6 days gestation. Kevin and Gregory were released
from the hospital on February 4, 2000. John, after battling with NEC,
was released from the hospital on February 20, 2000. We had a tough time when
Kevin and Gregory came home. On February 18, 2000 Kevin and Gregory were both
hospitalized with RSV. Kevin had the more severe case and almost died. He was
put back on a ventilator at the time. So, we were running between our rural
home to two different hospitals. The boys are now doing terrific. They are
in speech therapy for minor delays. To look at them, you can't tell that they
were premies!! Its hard to believe that our 3 lb. babies are now all but 30 lbs!!!!
If anyone would like to chat about their triplets or if I can be of help to anyone
else, Please e-mail us. We love to talk about all
our boys!!

In addition to Garrett - 12 1/2, Benjamin - 11, Samuel - 6, and Anna - 3 we have
triplets that just
celebrated their first birthday on

oz and Andrew 4#
14 oz and came home at 9, 17 and
15 days old. We could not do it without our older children - they are tremendous
helps. We also
would be floundering without the help of
our wonderful church family. Although life is hectic now, I can't help but wonder
what it will be
like in a couple of years with 3 three
year olds and two teenagers! I would love to be a resource to other triplet
parents/parents to be,
especially those with older children
and any who would like to find a good
church that would be able to help them out.
